Upcoming Town Council Work Session - September 16, 2026

The routes being considered in the Everywhere-to-Everywhere Greenways Feasibility Study have unique opportunities, challenges, and tradeoffs. At the Council Work Session on September 16, 2026, Town staff will share an update on the Everywhere-to-Everywhere Greenways Feasibility Study and ask for guidance on the types of greenways and acceptable tradeoffs that best fit Council's vision for Chapel Hill's greenway network. The project team will use Council guidance to ensure that the final feasibility study reflects community interests and priorities. You can view the agenda and Work Session materials here. The meeting will be held at 6pm in Room B at the Chapel Hill Public Library and is open to the public though there will be no public comment period.
