Late Summer 2026 Update

Assessment and analysis for the project is ongoing. We plan to update the Town Council about the project during their Work Session on Wednesday, October 14, at 6:00 pm at the Chapel Hill Library.

As part of this project, we are creating concept plans for the part of the Legion Property that may become a park. This would connect about 27 acres of the property to Ephesus Park, adding another 11 to 12 acres. We based these plans on community feedback since we acquired the property. We will share the concepts with community members and post them here this fall.
