Saturday, June 28 from 10am until 2pm

We invite you to learn and connect with your local government on Open Chapel Hill Day. It’s a Townwide open house featuring facility tours, fun activities, and a chance to meet Town staff. Anyone is welcome to participate at their own pace.

You can start at any one of the seven Town locations. When you get there, you’ll pick up a passport that guides you through the exciting activities you’ll find at each facility.

These are the Open Chapel Hill Day locations:

- Town Hall (405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.)

- Public Library (100 Library Drive)

- Fire Station 4 (101 Weaver Dairy Rd Ext)

- Police Department (828 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.)

- Transit (6900 Millhouse Road)

- Public Works (6850 Millhouse Road)

- Community Center (120 S. Estes Drive)

Parking is available at most locations and a Chapel Hill Transit bus will stop at each facility every 15 minutes for anyone interested in sitting back and relaxing. Anyone who rides the bus will be able to take it back to their starting point.

Community members will also have a bonus opportunity to check out Orange Water and Sewer Authority’s (OWASA’s) Jones Ferry water treatment facility at 9am, before the Town event begins. More information on this coming soon.
